High Performance Computing

West Virginia High Performance Computational Resources (WV HPCR), an initiative of the WVEPSCoR RII High Performance Computing Training Support Program,  understands that the relationship between advanced research and High Performance Computing (HPC) is important for successfully meeting the evolving requirements of academic research and preparing WV’s future workforce in supercomputing.

WV HPCR provides faculty at Primarily Undergraduate Institutions (PUIs) the opportunity to learn about HPC resources – including their availability – in the State.

STEM Education Initiative

The WVHTC Foundation understands the value of providing valuable connections within the community. The Science, Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) initiative works to provide students with opportunities by taking what they have learned in the classroom and making connections with technology companies. The WVHTC Foundation has partnered with Fairmont State University (FSU) to offer students the STEM Innovation Center. The goal of this initiative is to link up job seekers and the technology companies to provide a stronger, better regional workforce.
